# Certifications

Certifexpress covers the entire AWS Certification catalog: Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03), Solutions Architect Professional, Developer Associate (DVA-C02), SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer Professional, plus several Specialty certifications (Security, Machine Learning, Database…).
AZ-900 is beginner-friendly. Start with the free Microsoft Learn path (6 to 8 hours), then practice with Certifexpress questions to identify your gaps in the 3 main domains: cloud concepts, Azure services and governance/compliance. Aim for at least 85% in mock exams before the real test.
The CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) assesses cluster administration skills: installation, upgrades, RBAC, networking, storage and troubleshooting. The CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) focuses on application deployment and configuration: pods, deployments, services, ConfigMaps, jobs and Helm. CKA is recommended for ops/sysadmins, CKAD for developers.
Yes. Certifexpress offers practice tests for the three CNCF Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD and CKS. Questions cover hands-on exercises and the troubleshooting patterns specific to each exam.
At the end of each test, you get your overall score, the list of correct and incorrect answers, with the right answer and a detailed explanation for every question. You can replay only the failed questions to focus your revisions.

* Technical

Yes, Certifexpress is fully responsive and optimized for smartphones and tablets. No app to install: access it directly from your mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). The interface adapts automatically to your screen size.
With a free account, your progress, scores and attempts history are saved automatically. Without an account, results are shown at the end of the session but not stored. Account creation takes less than a minute and is entirely free.
Each correct answer is worth 1 point. The final score is expressed as a percentage. A score of 70% or higher is generally the passing threshold, in line with official exams. Per-domain statistics highlight your strengths and improvement areas.

= Comparisons

Certifexpress is 100% free with no intrusive ads, while Whizlabs and Udemy are paid (10 to 40 USD per certification). Certifexpress focuses on the quality of explanations and the coverage of popular certifications. Whizlabs offers more raw questions, and Udemy depends heavily on the course author. For a zero-budget option with strong quality, Certifexpress is the best choice.
If your company runs primarily on Azure (Microsoft 365, Active Directory), start with the AZ-900. If you work in a more diverse environment or in a startup, the AWS Cloud Practitioner is an excellent first choice thanks to AWS's dominant market share. Both are beginner-friendly and can be prepared in 2 to 4 weeks with Certifexpress.
To get started, CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) is highly recommended: globally recognized, accessible without prior security experience, and often required by employers (DoD 8570). The CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) focuses on penetration testing and fits better after 1-2 years of IT experience. Start with Security+, then move on to CEH or OSCP.
